Heads-up: these are early, unsigned previews, so your OS will warn you the first time — expected for a build that isn't code-signed yet. The steps below open it safely.

macOS — running the unsigned app

  1. Unzip the download, then drag Mythfits.app into your Applications folder.
  2. Right-click (or Control-click) Mythfits.app → choose Open.
  3. In the dialog that appears, click Open again. macOS remembers your choice, so future launches just double-click.
If macOS says the app is "damaged" or won't open at all (common on Sonoma / Sequoia for unsigned apps), clear the quarantine flag in Terminal, then open it:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Mythfits.app

Windows — running the unsigned app

  1. Unzip the download anywhere (it's portable — no installer). Keep Mythfits.exe in its own folder.
  2. Double-click Mythfits.exe. Windows SmartScreen will show "Windows protected your PC."
  3. Click More info → Run anyway. Windows remembers it after the first launch.
If your browser or Defender blocks the download, choose Keep / Keep anyway — unsigned preview binaries are flagged by reputation, not because anything is wrong. A signed build will land before the public launch.

Why the warnings? Code-signing certificates (Apple Developer ID / Windows Authenticode) cost money and take setup; until the builds are signed, Gatekeeper and SmartScreen flag them. The steps above are the standard, safe way to run an unsigned app you trust.

Once it's open

A small champion appears on the bottom edge of your screen. Right-click it for the Companion Menu, scroll over it (or press E) for the element wheel, and drag it along the rail. Quit from the tray icon or Settings.
